ISLAMABAD: While taking notice of abuse of power by a feudal lord in Umerkot and immediate release of culprits, Pakistan Chief Justice (CJ) Mian Saqib Nisar on Friday directed the Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) to submit report within five days.
According to spokesperson, the notice was taken on media reports that Nawab Zaid Talpur along with co-accused forcibly entered Police Station of Kunri in district Umerkot and reportedly asked the Station House Officer (SHO) to sit on the floor while he sat on the chair of SHO.
The accused were arrested but later on they were released owing to alleged political intervention.
