SUKKUR: Railway police personnel have intensified night patrolling on the railway track from Khanpur to Tando Adam, Dadu and Sibi.
This was stated by SP railway Malik Attique while addressing the Darbar of Railway police which held here on June 22. SP said that railway force has been striving hard to meet the challenges in difficult situations. There was no need to worry about the passengers’ safety as the railway police is fully vigilant and it had enhanced surveillance system.
The SP appealed to the people to report to police immediately if they find anything suspicious lying on the railway track.
“Under an SOP [standard operating procedure] the railway police make patrols daily on the railway tracks to check safety measures and tracks status,” said SP railway police. SP reiterated to initiate random visits of various stations and if any police official is found negligent in discharging his duties, he will not be spared and must be prepared for the maximum punishment.
He further advised the railway police personnel to make them humble and polite to railway passengers
