Film maker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy would not have expected this to happen after her tweets did their rounds on social media but her website www.sharmeenobaidfilms.com was hacked on Tuesday.
The person responsible for hacking her website identified himself as ‘TorPwn–Toxic BDys Team Member’.
He also left a message on her website stating “Tumhari Mashoori Ham Se Dekhi Nahi Ja Saki Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy (We could not bear to see you get so famous Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy).
Earlier Sharmeen had opened up about the controversy surrounding her series of tweets about the alleged sexual harassment scandal involving her sister and a doctor at Agha Khan University Hospital with a lengthy note.
The latest visit to her website states that it has either been taken down or security protocol is underway.
